CATFISH

Catfish is a my 2D animated graduation short film where among my core roles was to establish the art direction and as a lead background artist.

A nine-year-old girl Elise is horrified when her pet cat Roger turns into a goldfish, when she along with her parents move from her childhood home in the suburbs to an apartment in the city. Distraught, she returns to her old house to try and change him back..

Concept Art based on the heavy and seemingly never-ending monsoon season of Mumbai, India.

A little girl comes across her grandfather's sword in her grandparents house, which is the only thing that can defeat the monsters that come out at night.

Inspired by the poem 'I wandered lonely as a cloud' by William Wordsworth. A young girl is enamored by the beauty of the hills and loved exploring them, the memories of which she remembers often as a now old women.
